College of Alameda regularly offers a comprehensive program of more than 300 liberal arts, science and occupational courses in 38 major subject areas. Among the occupational programs are apparel design and merchandising, automotive technology, diesel mechanics, auto body and paint, dental assistant, human development services, office administration, and upholstery.
CoA's beautiful park-like campus offers the quiet restfulness of a suburban setting in a bustling urban area. Located at the corner of Webster Street and Atlantic Avenue in the island community of Alameda, it is easily accessible from Oakland and other Easy Bay cities by AC Transit and by private auto through the Webster Street Tube from downtown Oakland. The college's popular aviation maintenance technology program is located on a 2 1/2 acre site adjacent to Oakland International Airport's Northern side.
College of Alameda is one of four Colleges in the Peralta District.
